Spiders Pest Control & Extermination
Spiders can be found indoors all year round, but especially common during late summer and fall. Properties located near rivers, lakes, ponds and woods are more likely to have spider pest control issues. Spiders are an important part of the ecosystem when outdoors, as they eliminate and eat many insect pests, but can become an issue when not controlled, and when they find their way into your home.
Types of Spiders
Cobweb Spiders – also called comb-footed spiders, they are common indoors and outdoors. They are small to medium sized spiders and build their webs in places such as basements and undisturbed areas.
Cellar Spiders – these type of spiders are common in dark, secluded spaces such as basements, cellars, storage rooms etc.
Common Orb Weaver Spiders – are common in gardens and outdoor places, and very seldom found indoors. They range in size and color, and although they have large, odd looking bodies, they are not dangerous.
Funnel Weaver Spiders – usually brownish or grayish in color, with patterns near the head and moderate in size. They usually build their webs on the ground around entrances, windows and steps.
