This morning we received a call from a woman who found yellow jackets in her bathroom, and found that they had been coming in through a small hole they had created in her ceiling. This situation can arise when a nest that is building inside a wall goes untreated, as the nest expands the first sign that they are about to break through the drywall is discoloration. The wall will first appear as though there is a small leak, but if you listen closely during the day you will hear the buzzing, or a sound that is similar to rain hitting the roof. If you have any of these signs going on in your house, call us immediately at 216-348-3379. At this house in Bainbridge our technicians were able to remove the nest, and take care of her problem so that she could regain the use of her bathroom.
